How much does it cost to hire a corporate magician?+
Most corporate magic bookings run $2,500 to $5,000 depending on event format and audience size. Most of Josh's corporate bookings land in the $2,500 to $4,000 range.
How far in advance should we book?+
It depends more on the time of year than the type of event. 2 to 4 months out is normal. Peak dates, like weekends and the holiday season, can book up 6 to 12 months ahead.
What format of magic show works best for corporate events?+
The three options are strolling magic during cocktail hour, a stage show after dinner, or both. Strolling magic breaks the ice when guests don't know each other yet. The stage show is the high-impact closer the team retells back at the office. Most clients book both.
Can the show be customized for our company?+
Yes. Josh regularly works company names, team members, product references, and internal jokes into the show so it feels built for your audience instead of dropped in from a template. The more you tell him about the event in the planning call, the more of that customization makes it into the performance.
Is the show appropriate for a corporate audience?+
Yes. The material is clean, workplace-appropriate humor. Nothing political, nothing vulgar, nothing that puts anyone on the spot in a way they wouldn't enjoy. It's built to play well in front of executives, clients, and mixed-generation crowds.
Can Josh also host or emcee our event?+
Yes. Beyond performing, Josh can run your whole program as host and emcee, handling announcements, keeping transitions on schedule, and maintaining the energy from welcome to final toast.
What setup or AV do you need?+
Depends on the format. Strolling magic needs nothing but space and an open bar. The stage show needs a stage at minimum 12 feet wide by 6 feet deep, a wireless headset mic, a handheld mic on a stand for volunteers, a 3.5mm input, and a professional sound system. Setup takes about 60 minutes before doors. Josh sends a full tech rider after booking.
Do you travel?+
Yes. Josh performs nationwide for corporate events, so a company running events in more than one market can book the same show for each. The quote is all-in before anything is signed.
Do you carry liability insurance?+
Yes. Josh carries a general liability insurance policy and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue on request.
